The figure shows the appearance and dimensions of the M16A1. The M16A1 is externally identical to the M16. This is a high explosive (HE), bounding, fragmenting, antipersonnel (APERS), mine actuated by an M605 combination pull/pressure fuze.
The mine and fuze is painted olive drab with markings stenciled in yellow. Inert mines and fuze are painted olive drab with markings stenciled in white.
