
These are high explosive antitank (HEAT), fin stabilized cartridges incorporating a setback armed, impact inertia fired, base detonating (BD) fuze. They are fired from a smoothbore recoilless gun.
The antiricochet cap is anodized light gold; the remainder of the cartridge is painted olive drab and has black manufacturing markings. The DK-82 Variant has also been found with the following markings: M37 + 072 074- 704. The fuze is mottled light brown and has no markings except for the blue stenciled markings on the anodized gold booster cup.
