Description
These are high-explosive antitank (HEAT), fin stabilized cartridges incorporating a setback armed, impact inertia fired, base detonating (BD) fuze. They are fired from a smoothbore recoilless gun.
The antiricochet cap is anodized light gold; the remainder of the cartridge is painted olive drab and has black manufacturing markings. The fuze is mottled light brown and has no markings except for the blue stenciled markings on the anodized gold booster cup.
