Description
This is essentially a cylindrical cgtsc containing a vial of acid, a chemical pellet, and a plunger that rests on the vial and extends above the case. The lower threaded portion of the case is protected by a transit cap. This fuze is not detectable by ordinary electronic devices, as it is constructed entirely of nonmetaJlic materials.
It is used in the Model 1948 undetectable antipersonnel mine and in improvised mines.
