
The P3 Mk 1 antitank mine is a low metallic content, blast mine intended to damage or destroy tanks and other vehicles. The P3 Mk 1 uses the P4 Mk 1 antipersonnel mine as a fuze. The plastic mine body consists of a pressure plate, mine body, and base. The top of the pressure plate has four raised concentric circles, intersected by six raised ribs radiating from the center. The pressure plate requires 200 to 250 kg of pressure to actuate the detonation train.
The mine case is light gray brown with a yellow base.
