
This fuze is employed with both antipersonnel and antitank mines, primarily as a deterrent against the use of mine detectors. It may also be used with a tripwire and may possibly be found as a normal boobytrap mechanism, either as a pull or a pressure fuze.
The casing of the faze is of brass (1), the tiltrod (3), tilt rod ball (4), and tilt rod ball projection (5) are made in one piece.
