Description
This salute is used by the Marine construction battalions and amphibious training commands to simulate battle sounds of loud report and bright flash.
Essentially a commercial-type firecracker, this salute is a spirally-wound paper tube closed at both ends with paper cups. It uses the regular firecracker filling and fuse.
