The complete weapon system, i.e., launcher with rocket, is designated RBR M80. This is a shoulder launched, rocket propelled, fin and spin stabilized, high explosive antitank (HEAT) rocket. The rocket uses a point initiating (piezoelectric) base detonating (PIBD) fuze with a pyrotechnic self destruct feature. The warhead is similar to the warhead used in the Soviet PG-18 rocket.
The warhead body is olive drab with yellow markings. The point-initiating element is pale gold in color with black markings. The rocket motor body is painted gray with yellow markings. The adapter and fins have a chemically treated gold surface. The launcher is painted green with yellow markings. The extended portion of the launcher is unpainted fiberglass except for the exposed rear edge which is painted green. The instruction label has a black background with white markings. The igniter assembly (primer and relay holder, flash tube, and igniter) will not be present after rocket launch.
