The M274 warhead is a modified version of the WTU-1/B Cast Iron Inert Practice Warhead. The modification consists of the addition of a sealed S&A and smoke cartridge, nose cap, firing pin, retainer ring, and blow plugs. It is employed with the low-spin folding-fin Mk 40 motor and the spin-stabilized wrap-around fin Mk 66 motor Mods 1, 2, 3, and 4.
