The projectile body was the standard German 10 centimeters (Wgr. 35 Nb. St. steel body, booster, burster, and burster well). The shipping container consisted of a cylindrical cardboard container with a hinged metal lid and a metal base cover, the latter containing a recess to protect the projectile fuze.
