The No. 3 Mark 1 pressure-release fuze has an outer metal case and a striker attached to the end of a leaf spring and held in cocked position by a safety pin. When armed, the striker is held by an inclined tongue in the hinged lid that acts as a stop for the leaf spring. A fuze adapter or a detonator adapter with a percussion cap is screwed into the side of the fu2e.
This mine fuze is also used in charges placed under crates, packages, and similar objects as boobytrap devices.
No information about functioning.
Nothing else to see.
