Description
Figure shows the appearance and dimensions of the VS-T illumination landmine. This is a pressure or tilt rod actuated illumination landmine. The mine is designed to give both an acoustic (blast) and visual warning of an intruder. The flare signal illuminates a circular area of approximately 57 meters (187 feet) for 40 seconds with an intensity of 50,000 candlepower.
The mine and emplacement stake may be found unpainted, beige colored, green, or khaki colored plastic. The mine may be found in other colors depending on the users specifications.
