Description
The model (type) 63 antitank mine is a round, molded, nonmetallic mine and is similar in size and shape to the US M15 heavy antitank mine. It has performance and lethality comparable to, or better than, the US M19 nonmetallic HE antitank mine. Rubber seals and gaskets insure waterproof operations for underwater use also. The bottom of the mine has 3 identical sized capped holes - one cap of which has an additional plug probably for an antilift device
