Description

The TMA-5, TMA-5A landmines, and the VTMA-5 practice mine use the same fuze, except the practice mine fuze detonator has been replaced with a detonator for the practice mine. The TMA-5 and TMA-5A are pressure-actuated, high-explosive (HE), nonmetallic AT landmines. The VTMA-5 is a practice AT mine.

The mine is green plastic with Cyrillic (Yugoslav) markings. On the top surface of the upper body are unpainted markings and yellow painted markings. The markings on the lower body are painted yellow. The VTMA-5 practice landmine cover is marked with a yellow diagonal yellow strip. The fuze body is brown with a green plunger and a silver detonator. The markings are painted/stenciled in white.
