Description
This delay element, containing 0.14 gram of explosive filler, has a cylindrical configuration. It measures 7/ 8 inch long, 3/4 inch in diameter, and weighs approximately 0.06 pound. The delay element is available in 5 firing delay times (0.01, 0.025, 0.05 0.10 and 0.25 second) and one nondelay (0.0 second). The interchangeable delay assemblies are used to complete the firing trains of fuzes M904 (E1 or E2) and M905. The delay time is marked on one of the flat surfaces of the delay element body.
