The CBU-8/A consists of a dispenser SUU-7A/A loaded with 406 practice bombs BDU-27/B. It is designed to be mounted on Air Force aircraft F-4C, F-5, F-84, F-86, F-100, F-104, and F-105 and Navy aircraft A4 and F8U. The dispenser is designed to release one, two, three, four, six, or salvo (all at once) tubeloads of bombs with an application of electric current
