Description
The CBU-2A/A is designed to be mounted on Air Force aircraft F-4C, F-5, F-84, F-86, F-100, F-104, F-105 and Navy aircraft A4D and F8U. It is an antimaterial munition and is used against targets such as trucks, parked aircraft, ammunition, fuel tanks, and radar equipment.
The dispenser has a thin aluminum skin and contains 19 thin-walled, anodized aluminum tubes that are loaded with 406 bombs BLU-3/B.
