Description
Booster M21A4 is used in conjunction with point fuzes to function high explosive projectiles. The booster consists of a brass body containing the booster mechanism, booster lead charge, and detonator M17 and an aluminum booster cup threaded over the body containing a 340 grain tetryl booster pellet.
